Hazardous Material Regulations reflect on the potential
for volatile cargo, such as propane, amoung others, besing used
in a terroist attack. The Homeland Security Act and Transportation
Security include, but are not limited to Operation Liberty Shield.
This is mostly because of the war on Iraq and continued terrorist
activities. Stonger Transportation protection is today needed
and these Thief's Nightmare products do provide one solution.
While working on class 8 trucks (semi's) and construction
equipment, all employers are required to establish a program
by affixing Lockout/Tagout devices to disable machines and/or
equipment to prevent the unexpected energizing, start-up or release
of stored energy. This is done in order to prevent injury to employees
while servicing and/or performing maintenance on machines or equipment.
Hazmat shipers of all modes of transportation should have today
in place increased stronger anti-theft protection devices in order
to prevent wouldbe terrorist from driving away with vulnerable

driving a semi-load of propane or other type of explosives into
a nuclear power plant, major airports, financial centers, dams,

together to tighten the security for volatile cargo.
Lockout Device:
A
device that utilized a positive means such as a Lock, either "key"
or "combination type", to hold an energy source in a safe position
and thus prevent the energizing of a machine and/or equipment.

Lockout/tagout with TN-1 & TN-2 is used...
For air, water, steam, fuel, oil and many
other hazardous energy sources. Locking in both the open and
closed position is required to hold the energy source as a
Lockout/Tagout device. When used as ANTI-THEFT device it will give
any unsuspecting professional thief his worst nightmare. The would
be thief will soon leave defeated.
Here is how it works: Let's say you have a semi-truck
or semi-trailer that is defective.
By totally immobilizing the "Air System" on any semi-truck or
unhooked semi-trailer, it actually locks up the entire Maxie-Brake
System, your driver can not take off down the road witn a dangerous
vehicle. Safety is the #1 concern when a semi-truck or trailer
is placed "Out of Service". If only a out of service tag is used
that can easily be ripped off or blown off in the wind, it gives
a false sense of security. The unsuspecting
driver may even cause an accident and kill someone place your
company at unnecessary risk and liability due to your faulty equipment.
TN-1 can solve this problem.
TN-2 can be fitted to totally immobilize
any diesel or gas fuel system on all construction equipment, cars,
trucks, boats and farm equipment. It can also be used on your
home vehicles since auto theft is a large concern.
TN-2A is an electronic fuel shut-off system that is controlled
with a keypad up near the operator of the truck or equipment.

TN-3 is a safety Lockout/Tagout with a
master-disconnect switch inside a lockable box that fits a wide
variety of equipment and/or machines. We offer a standardized
Lockout/Tagout device within your company so employees can
identify what it is by the color, shape & size. It is high
quality and does have ON & OFF stamped inside beside the
switch and also the words Lockout/Tagout are in plain view so
there are no mistakes when used.
TN-3A is a Group Lockout/tagout
box and can hold THREE DIFFERENT LOCKS or more, so a number of
different employees can work on equipment at once. Primary
responsibility is vested in an authorized employee for a set
number of employees working under the protection of a group
Lockout/Tagout box. Each authorized employee shall affix a
personal Lock and tagout device to the group lockout device when
he or she begins work, and shall remove those devices when he or
she stops working on the machine or equipment being serviced or
maintained. A lot of equipment already has master-disconnect
switches in place, so to save YOU money both TN-3 &
TN-3A can be purchased with or without switches.
TN-4 is a heavy gage steel Lockout/Tagout key box
used as a safety and convenience item. While working on any truck
or equipment, place the key to ignition inside this lockout box
and secure it with a different keyed padlock along with an "Out of
Service" tag for safety. Service people, equipment leasing, large
trucking & construction companies MANAGING several hundred
keys all have problems. The TN-4 really does actually get a thousand
different pieces of equipment down to one key when a common key or
combination lock is placed as the outside lock. Provide security
for many Industrial applications like putting a special key inside
to a machine when used as a Lockout/Tagout box to prevent
unauthorized use with a combination lock for only the authorized
employees.
The Cargo Lock can be used to lock up the rear
& side doors on a semi-trailer, gang boxes or on anything
else you may want to keep YOURS and has a 7/16" shackle. It is
so impressive looking the thief will take one look and leave.
